March 6:
Command 209, Command 210, Engine 204, Tanker 202, Utility 207 responded to residential structure fire on Hagy Street. All occupants were out on our arrival. The fire was contained to the basement area and the house suffered minor smoke damage throughout the rest of the structure.
February 10:
The Fire Department responded to a mutual aid request from Roanoke County. The Department responded with Tanker 202 and 1 Officer and 2 Firefighters. The Department was part of a deployment that included Brumley Gap VFD and Clinch Mountain VFD. Units were used for two 12 hour periods performing structure protection duties.
